National Library Service: Braille and Talking Book Program

The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) administers a free library service for individuals who are unable to read or use standard print materials because of a visual or physical disability. For more information about NLS, visit https://www.loc.gov/nls/.

Any resident of the United States who is unable to read or use standard print materials as a result of a temporary or permanent visual or physical disability is eligible for NLS.

If you are interested in participating in the program, a librarian can assist with completing the application and certify you are unable to use standard print materials as a result of physical limitations.

To make an appointment, please call 309-755-9614 ext 113 or email reference@eastmolinelibrary.org.
