Digital Art Series Instructor

The East Moline Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic artistic mentor who enjoys working with students to lead a total of 16 digital art programs in June and July of 2026. Programs will take place weekly on Mondays 5pm-7pm and Tuesdays 1pm-3pm from June 8 – July 28. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in graphic design and education.

This is a Project Next Generation State of Illinois grant-funded temporary position.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received and qualified applicants invited to interview.

Additional Details:

  • Prepare age-appropriate digital art instruction using Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Tayasui Sketches, and Sketchbook applications
  • Demonstrate proper methods for using iPads, keyboard, and stylus
  • Lead at total of 16 digital art programs over the course of 8 weeks
  • Hours: 32 hours in class instruction; 16 hours program set up and clean up; 16 hours program planning
  • Salary: $2400
